St. Patrick’s Day is an annual feast day, which celebrates Saint Patrick – the most commonly recognized of the patron saints of Ireland, and is generally celebrated on 17th of March. St. Patrick’s Cathedral is also a beautiful and historic place to visit during the festivities. Where to go for delicious Irish cuisine and pints upon pints? Molly’s is the place to go. Open for lunch and dinner, this is a great place to grab a bite, especially if you’ve got the craving for bangers (sausage) and mash, lamb stew or corned beef and cabbage. Molly’s also has countless of delicious beers on tap, including Guinness Stout, Murphy’s Stout and Irish Amber, and plenty of other beers to fulfill your desires.
One of the first and best cities to visit for St. Patrick’s Day is Boston. There is much Irish history in Boston.
It is also likely to be one of the more spirited party cities on March 17th. In addition to the usual green beer and other alcohol-related elements that are entailed on this day, Boston also offers things like an Irish heritage walk through the city’s traditional Irish neighborhoods. The parade starts on Broadway (by the T station), continues throughout the streets of South Boston. South Boston is well known for being a working class Irish- American neighborhood. The parade finally ends in Andrews Square. Even if you’re not Irish, it is still something that you can enjoy.
The typical scenery of St. Patrick’s Day is a sea of green. People wearing green, drinking green beer but what about a green river? If you visit Chicago, you’ll find that the whole river has turned green. It’s one of the city’s St. Patrick’s Day traditions, and although it dates back to a plumbing mishap originally, it’s become a cherished part of Chicago’s St. Patty’s Day party ever since. St. Patrick’s Day in Chicago also features activities such as an Irish soda bread contest, a best-dressed “Irish” dog contest, and a children’s parade around the art center’s grounds. A live production by the Beverly Arts Centers’ own children’s theater group is also featured on this festive day. In addition, this event will feature food, drink, numerous Irish vendors, and live entertainment from bagpipers, Irish dancers, and a host of Irish musicians.
Philadelphia is home to the 2nd oldest St. Patrick’s Day parade in the country. With a dizzying array of Irish Bars, Irish people, and those who get down with the green on March 17, the party here is one of the country’s best.

RAMBLINGS OF A FOOL: Day out with mom.
Day out with mom.
Today, my mom said, I was yelling in my sleep, "I found a 4 leaf clover! I found a 4 leaf clover!"It should mean good luck right?Let's see how the events of the day unfolded.Firstly, I got my allowance.So off to Gurney Plaza to buy a pair of trainers cause mine has the sole flapping like an alligator.I saw one which I kinda liked but put off buying it cause I KNOW that I would find something nicer and regret.Lunch, Chilli's.
I'm not sure why, but mom loves the Cajun Club Sandwich at Chilli's. So we had to drop by to fill my mom's tum. We kinda shared the sandwich cause it was too filling de.Had bottomless orange juice to go with it.
We resumed our hunt for a pair of trainers when I came across a pair of sandals. Mine was slowly disintegrating before my eyes so mom kinda urged me to get one.Here's all my old slippers from left to right,2007 Birkenstock Pisa - RM 2792008 Crocs - RM 1792009 Bata - RM 26.902009 Rip Curl - RM 402010 Teva - RM161
The winner of all those is...BATA! And the cheapest too!Sadly, no more de, if not would just get that.We left Gurney and headed home when I realised, I just finished Watchmen and I need something to read tonight.Off to Borders.And after a grueling 4 hours of choosing books, Kurt Vonnegut's Hocus Pocus was the choice.RM 33.90 at Borders
Lately, I've been a little worried about someone.I don't like to see people hurt.Even though they're hurting themselves.I shall teach you how to tune out.I learned it sometime back.It's been a semi-lucky day.

PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh native Ryan Malone will be representing the United States at the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver.The Tampa Bay Lightning star forward is making his Olympic debut and has joined forces with Channel 11 News and Supercuts. He'll be supplying exclusive pictures and videos to WPXI.com throughout the Olympics.Ryan, in his second season with the Lightning and his sixth in the NHL, is on pace for his best career season. He scored a career-high 27 goals and 51 points in 2007-08 with the Pittsburgh Penguins. Ryan, the son of former NHLer Greg Malone, is a power forward who brings size and scoring ability to the U.S. team."I'm so excited about everything and just being a part of it," Ryan told WPXI.com's Jessica Fera. "I've heard it's everything you imagine and then 10 times more. It will be great to stay in the village and I feel so much pride in representing my country. I think it will be cool to meet some of the other athletes and I hope to have time to catch some of the other events, too."Ryan grew up in the Steel City after his father spent much of his NHL career with the Penguins. Greg Malone later played for several other teams, but the family remained in Pittsburgh where Ryan attended Upper St. Clair High School. After he retired, Greg became a talent scout for the Penguins."Ever since I was a little kid, I was always running around in a little hockey helmet and loved the game, so I've been very privileged," Ryan said.Ryan and his wife, Abby, now have a son of their own. Will is 2 years old and the couple is expecting their second child in April 2010. Ryan said he's excited for his family to join him in Vancouver to watch him play."This is really a time that I look back at all of the people who have helped me along the way. I'm so thankful for everyone who has helped me become the player I am today. People like my family, my mom, who always drove me to those early morning practices, and the coaches, some of whom I've lost touch with since leaving Pittsburgh," Ryan said.Ryan was drafted by Pittsburgh in 1999, when his dad was still a scout, and started his career with the Penguins in 2003-04. After the 2007-08 season, when the Penguins lost to the Detroit Red Wings in the Stanley Cup final, he was traded to Tampa Bay as a restricted free agent, and signed a seven-year deal with the Lightning. At the same time, his dad was hired as head pro scout for the team.Ryan said while he has high hopes for his new team, he still misses his hometown."Leaving was hard; harder than I though," Ryan said. "You don't realize it until you're gone. It was weird seeing a different logo. I was so used to seeing the Penguins logo everywhere. Especially since we came so close to winning the cup, I think it was harder to leave. But everything happens for a reason and hopefully maybe I'll finish my career in Pittsburgh someday."Ryan Malone
Ryan said he is looking forward to playing with former teammates Brooks Orpik and Ryan Whitney on Team USA. Ryan is also looking forward to going up against some former teammates; Sergei Gonchar and Evgeni Malkin were named to the Russian team while Sidney Crosby and Marc-Andre Fleury were tabbed by Hockey Canada. Ryan said these former teammates are still his current friends."I still keep in touch with the guys," Ryan said. "I go to dinner with them, with Fleury, whenever I'm in town. The Olympics should be a great experience for everyone."Malone has played at two World Championships for the U.S. team in 2004 and 2006. He won a bronze medal in 2004, scoring three goals in the tournament. In 2006, he played on a line with fellow 2010 Olympians Dustin Brown and Phil Kessel. Malone scored two goals and had two assists in seven games.While Ryan is known for his strength on the ice, Pittsburgh fans also knew Ryan for the colorful tattoos he sported off the ice.

Reese Koffler-Stanfield is not one to sit idle. She has been busy starting her new farm in an ideal location, just minutes from the Kentucky Horse Park, host of the 2010 Alltech/FEI World Equestrian Games. With grand plans for her business and already successful career, Reese is a popular dressage instructor in her region. In addition to her continued accomplishments on horseback she is now a certified equine appraiser, is working on her USDF “L” learner judge license, and has a new puppy and new colt out of her Grand Prix mare, Jamaica.
Just 10 minutes from the Kentucky Horse Park in Georgetown, Kentucky, Clover Creek Dressage is a gorgeous piece of land that Reese, her horses, staff and clients will call home starting in 2009. With the 2010 FEI World Equestrian Games in the not-so-distant future, there isn’t a better time for Reese to relocate, and there certainly isn’t a better place.
Clover Creek, named by Reese’s husband Travis after he found five four-leaf-clovers on the property, will be home to the broodmares and youngsters starting in the fall of 2008. The farm consists of 20 acres of prime Kentucky bluegrass. "We are really looking forward to it," says Reese about the creation and start of her new farm. She says it will be a work in progress just as Maplecrest Farm was for her family when mother Margee started it years ago. Reese's parents will be selling their farm so her father can enjoy more golf and her mother can focus on her passion for creating art.
Although the land doesn't currently have the same amenities that Maplecrest Farm does, Reese's plans for the property and the business are top-of-mind. The future will bring a nine-stall barn with a barn apartment and an indoor arena so there's no more teaching in the elements!
